We went camping at Sawmill Canyon last weekend. It was so beautiful.
This creek--that Taryn just took a dip in--ran right by our campsite.
If you look closely at my nephew's face you can see the temperature of the water could be best described as BRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!
We hiked 2.25 miles to get to Mill Lake, which is a pristine lake in the mountains, with great fishing. My brother described the first 2 miles of the hike as "like walking in your back yard." I was unaware my brother lived on the side of a mountain, but the hike was definitely worth it.

Wow, that sounds like so much fun. I used to do things liek this all the time with my family as a kid. Such good memories!
